julian frampton – guitar / vocals

Julian Frampton is a singer and songwriter from Los Angeles, CA. He is the son of Grammy award winning guitarist Peter Frampton. Julian co-wrote and provided vocals on the track Road to the Sun, which appeared on Peter’s album “Thank You Mr. Churchill”. In support of that song, Julian performed on multiple radio and tv shows. Occasionally joining his father on stage throughout the years, Julian has sang along side world acclaimed guitarists such as Dean DeLeo of The Stone Temple Pilots and Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick. He’s also had the opportunity to record with legendary drummer, Matt Cameron of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. Now, Julian and his father embark on the Frampton RAW: Acoustic tour twice a year with Julian opening the show.

ben sheridan – keys / vocals

Ben is a multi-instrumentalist with roots in the Central New York countryside. A Songwriting degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston sent Ben to Los Angeles where he spends his time playing shows, writing songs, and educating. Ben is touring in support of the album that he recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles with Julian and Peter Frampton entitled, “Half & Half”.

ricky bakken – bass

Ricky Bakken is a bass player with roots in Seattle, who now resides in Los Angeles. Growing up, his main focus was playing jazz, in high school, as well other jazz ensembles throughout the Seattle area. Along side playing jazz, another major part of his experience came from the rock bands he played in during his high school years. Playing shows at least once a week either with a  hardcore rock band, or a university jazz band, Ricky gained a lot of experience playing different styles of music, and collaborating with others. After high school he went on to study the bass at Berklee College of Music. He spent three years there studying, meeting people, and playing in different bands, spanning all genres from hip hop to indie folk music. Toward the end of his time at Berklee, he joined a hiphop band and hit the road touring the country for about a year. Once the touring slowed down, Ricky moved to Los Angeles and started freelancing as a bass player, gigging and writing with several different artists, and bands. At the moment Ricky is playing bass with Julian Frampton, The Brinks, Lou Pine, The Hard, Davies, Christopher Youmans, and Teddy Roxpin.

mike lis – guitar

Born in Los Angeles, Mike Lis grew up playing in rock bands and playing at many of Hollywood’s historic venues such as The Whiskey,  The Mint, Cozy’s, BB King’s House of Blues, etc.  Mike received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Studio/Jazz Guitar from the University of Southern California.  Mike is a guitarist (studio and live), bassist, arranger, songwriter, MD, and educator.  Mike currently plays in The Julian Frampton Band,  Hillside Tabernacle (Gospel Church), the house band for Industry Tuesdays, and many other freelance gigs and recording sessions around the LA area.

guy azoulay – drums

Born and raised in Israel, Guy Azoulay is a a 27 year old professional drummer. He has played with many respected artists in Israel including live performances as well as studio. He’s even had the opportunity to play at the house of the Israeli president.
Guy moved to LA in October of 2014 to study drums and percussion at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Since graduation, he has gone on a US tour, played in a few church bands and accompanied the musicals, Avenue Q and Fugitive. He is currently playing with artists such as Ronny W, Julian Frampton, Mitchell Shaffer.
